It was so comfortable and quirky, motel style with parking outside the door. Our room backed onto the road but didn't notice any excessive traffic noise. Breakfast was limited but kept us going. It ticked all the boxes and nice to stay somewhere different to the norm. Room was compact but clean, odd smell at times, perhaps a bit musty. Shower was tiny but everything was provided that you needed. Good location for us, plenty of eateries within 15/20 minute walk. Breakfast is limited but will tide you over until you find somewhere for a more substantial meal. Enjoyed our stay. We were there with friends for the weekend. It is located on a somewhat busy street and our friends were in a room on the street side which they said was a bit noisy. We stayed on the side where the front office was and had no noise problems at all. The rooms are pretty basic but nice. Nothing fancy. Not updated but not too old. Just what you need for sleep. The service though was what really stood out. The front office staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. The make the best homemade chocolate chip cookies! All day long. The front office is welcoming with a wood-burning fire to sit by and cute outdoor patio to have breakfast at.
